Since moving to Midland, Michelle has embraced the small-town atmosphere but is still passionate about the needs of the bigger businesses and corporations in our area. In the course of tax planning, Michelle enjoys comparing salaries versus dividends, developing detailed annual plans, and the thrill of landing the bottom line within a few hundred dollars of the original projections.
Originally from Exeter, Ontario, Michelle attended college and started her career in Barrie in 2004. A partner in a Barrie firm from 2004 to 2016, Michelle continued her education and became a Certified Bookkeeper in 2009. Michelle moved to Midland when she purchased Keenans Accounting Service in 2013 and has continued to give back to the community through her various volunteer efforts. Michelle loves the Georgian Bay area but she tries to get back to Exeter as often as she can to visit her niece and 3 nephews.
